Biography
Sheena is the head of the Data Protection practice at CMS Holborn Asia. Certified as an Asian privacy specialist with CIPP(A) qualification and certified in privacy management, CIPM, she is naturally a leading international lawyer in the field of Data Protection. Qualified in Singapore, New York, England & Wales, her expertise includes Asian privacy as well as working with clients in Asia to comply with the GDPR and CCPA. With more than 25 years of specialist experience in Asia, Sheena is one of the most experienced privacy lawyers in Asia.
Sheena manages a team that advises on privacy policy and compliance issues including dealing with the ever-changing and evolving laws in Asia. Sheena has acted as advisers to some of leading companies in the world as well as government agencies and privacy regulators. Sheena is known for her sound, commercial advice and is widely acknowledged as a global thought leader on cutting-edge issues in this field.
Sheena was appointed to the inaugural Asia Advisory Board of IAPP. She holds leadership positions at iTechlaw as the Asia Pacific Conference Vice-Chair. She is ranked as a leading lawyer in numerous publications including Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal Data 2025, ALB Top 50 TMT Lawyers 2024, Asia Law Top 100 lawyers Singapore 2024.
