Rachael Honig is Corporate Counsel, Litigation, at Celgene Corporation, and is primarily responsible for handling internal investigations, litigation, and responses to government investigations and inquiries.
Ms. Honig joined Celgene in November 2016 from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, where she was employed for 13 years, serving, at various times, as Counsel to U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman; Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division; and an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Special Prosecutions and Criminal Divisions. From 2000 to 2003, Ms. Honig was a Litigation Associate at the Washington, D.C. office of the law firm Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr. From 1999 to 2000, she was a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Mary M. Schroeder of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Honig received her law degree with High Honors from The University of Chicago Law School in 1999, where she served as a member and a Comment Editor of The University of Chicago Law Review. She received a B.A. in English Language & Literature from The University of Chicago in 1995.
