Biography

Mike Grady is the Chief of the Bank Integrity Unit (“BIU”) in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Money Laundering & Asset Recovery Section. The BIU’s mission is to protect the integrity of the U.S. financial system by prosecuting financial institutions, their officers and employees, and other individuals and entities for money laundering, Bank Secrecy Act violations, sanctions violations, and other financial crimes. Mike previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the National Security Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, as a Trial Attorney in the BIU, and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland. Mike received his law and undergraduate degrees from the University of Virginia and clerked for United States District Judge Stefan R. Underhill in the District of Connecticut.
