Melissa is the Disrupting Displacement Project Manager in EBCLC’s Community Economic Justice Clinic, where she focuses on immediate and long-term anti-displacement efforts to address the East Bay’s housing crisis. Since starting at EBCLC in 2014, Melissa has served as a Legal Intake Assistant in the Housing Practice, the organization’s first Executive and Communications Assistant, and transitioned into her current role as of September 2016. Melissa is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley where she studied Social Welfare. Currently, Melissa serves on EBCLC’s Equity and Inclusion Committee and is an inaugural fellow of the Justice Collective’s Abundant Leadership Fellowship.
