Kim Arnone is a partner at the law firm of Cutting Edge Counsel and vice president of Cutting Edge Capital, a capital advising firm. Kim specializes in developing community capital raising strategies for social enterprises, cooperatives and nonprofits. She works primarily on investment offerings that can be publicly offered and that are open broadly to community members. Kim has assisted a wide range of enterprises in successfully raising capital including offerings from a worker-owned green waste recycling company, an organic farm, a rural community development fund and an urban food coop, among others. Kim currently sits on the advisory board of Windshare, a renewable energy financing company, and Oakland Grown, a local business development coalition. She has served on various nonprofit boards including a stint as chair of AIDS Legal Referral Panel of San Francisco. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Hastings College of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of the Women’s Law Journal.
