Kathleen is a director within PwC’s National Professional Services Group, with a specific focus on Auditing Services, Methods & Tools. She monitors PCAOB and US Auditing Standards Board (ASB) standard-setting activities, considering the implications of proposed standards on the US firm and its clients and contributing to the development of the firm’s responses to public consultations. She serves as the technical advisor to the firm’s representative on the ASB, and is the firm’s representative on the ASB’s International Auditing Standards and Risk Assessment Task Forces. She is also a key member of the project team supporting the Firm’s adoption of the PCAOB’s requirements to communicate critical audit matters in the auditor’s report.

She also facilitates US input in the global network processes to comment on proposals of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB). Prior to rejoining PwC in 2016, Kathleen served as the Technical Director of the IAASB. In that capacity, she oversaw key standard-setting projects related to auditor reporting, auditing estimates and quality control, and was responsible for stakeholder engagement with global regulators and audit oversight authorities. 

Kathleen also spent 6 years within PwC’s Consumer and Industrial Products practice, followed by 3 years in the Division of Corporation Finance at the SEC. 

Kathleen is a certified public accountant and graduated with a BS from Lehigh University.
