Biography

Joshua Cohen practiced real estate law at some of the largest NYC law firms, focusing on the representation of clients in the negotiation of all aspects of transactional commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings, joint ventures, leases, and development. Joshua focuses on all real estate asset classes, including office, multi-family, condominium, and hospitality. During his private practice, Joshua completed over $5 Billion in real estate transactions. Joshua is currently Executive Vice President and General Counsel – Eastern Region for Greenland USA (an international Fortune company based in Shanghai), representing Greenland USA in all legal aspects relating to the Pacific Park Brooklyn project, a $6 Billion mixed-use development in Downtown Brooklyn being co-developed by Greenland USA and Forest City Ratner Companies (now Brookfield). Joshua Cohen has a BA, summa cum laude, from Yeshiva University, a JD from Harvard Law School and an LLM (Taxation) from New York University School of Law.
