Biography
Jason Mark Anderman is a legal services and technology innovator for technology, health and financial services clients from Fortune 100 to startup enterprises. He optimizes knowledge management, processes and operations to drive consistently outstanding results. Jason has an extensive background in technology transactions, intellectual property licensing, cybersecurity and privacy law, bank regulatory
procurement, and complex commercial real estate leasing. He holds a Six Sigma green
belt earned by designing a breakthrough contract negotiating process that closed deals
60% faster to speed up contract cycle time.
Jason’s experience includes being Head of Legal and Compliance at Certa, the leading third party risk management no-code platform. He has also led legal operations, procurement and real estate legal work for a major consumer-facing technology company. Previously, Jason led cybersecurity, procurement and real estate legal matters for American Express, designing the procurement contracting system for a department with $2B+ spend, 5000+ annual contracts, and a 40 person contract manager team. He also taught the Seton Hall University School of Law health privacy class and led health privacy, data security, real estate, procurement and $100M+ revenue product legal efforts at BD, a Fortune 500 medical technology firm. In these roles, and as an associate at Am Law 100 firms Paul Hastings LLP and Goodwin Procter LLP, he has led extensive technology and procurement transactions for SaaS, software development, manufacturing, supply arrangements, outsourcing, life sciences sales, and digital initiatives. Jason also founded a document assembly technology startup, giving him elaborate hands-on product knowledge as a business executive.
Jason excels at accelerating deals, predicting ahead of time areas of likely pushback from counterparties and tailoring drafting to speed along contract acceptance so clients can close sales faster to increase revenues, plus wrap up procurement transactions to book savings and put productivity enhancing tools in the hands of business units quickly.
