Thomas E. Drohan is a graduate of the Boston University School of Law and has been a member of the California State Bar since 1992. He has worked as the housing attorney at Legal Assistance to the Elderly (LAE) in San Francisco for over twenty three years and now supervises three unlawful detainer defense attorneys there. Mr. Drohan specializes in defending seniors who are facing eviction from their homes. He has represented hundreds of tenants in unlawful detainer actions as well as at the San Francisco Rent Board and formerly sat as a settlement judge at San Francisco Superior Court. He has participated as a member of the planning committee of the San Francisco Mental Health Association’s annual conference on hoarding and cluttering and is a frequent presenter at conferences and trainings given by SFMHA, PLI and the San Francisco Bar Association. For the past year, Mr. Drohan has also been the Litigation Supervising Attorney at San Francisco’s Eviction Defense Collaborative advising on EDC’s full scope cases.
