Rayne is a senior attorney and global compliance leader with extensive experience in labor and employment and commercial compliance. She began her legal career as a judicial clerk on the Texas Supreme Court. From there she joined Jones Day where she worked in the Labor & Employment practice group for seven years in Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. While at Jones Day, Rayne represented Fortune 500 clients in employment litigation, labor grievance proceedings, and labor arbitrations. She also provided counseling and partnered with clients to mitigate labor and employment risks, including through use of risk assessments, audits, and training sessions.
Rayne transitioned to in-house roles and joined Georgia-Pacific LLC as Senior Counsel, Labor and Employment. While with Georgia-Pacific, Rayne continued to act as lead counsel on litigated cases and partnered with outside firms on various matters including OFCCP audits, e-discovery projects, and benefits disputes. Rayne then joined Exide Technologies as Assistant General Counsel where she was responsible for management of labor and employment matters globally. She also was responsible for data privacy issues and ensuring compliance with global privacy laws. Rayne moved into a compliance role when she joined General Electric where she had global compliance responsibility for two of the businesses in the power franchise, gas turbines and global services.
In 2018, Rayne joined Nokia initially as a member of the compliance team with responsibility for North America as well as global responsibility for the Enterprise business group. She transitioned to Senior Counsel, Labor & Employment Americas and now is responsible for labor and employment matters in both the NAM and LATAM regions. In this role, Rayne also has responsibility for global projects and initiatives, including in the areas of data privacy, training and employee awareness, and employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
Rayne resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two children.
