Mary began her career at Deloitte & Touche LLP in 1995 as part of a competitive work/study program, earning her MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business while working in the financial services banking practice in New York. As a senior manager several years later, Mary later joined our San Francisco Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice serving private equity clients and supporting strategic transactions domestically and abroad. Seeking further experience in accounting matters, in 2004, Mary joined Deloitte’s San Francisco Accounting Consultation practice concentrating on revenue recognition and business combination matters. For the past several years she has led Deloitte’s External Inspections group focused on PCAOB inspections. Working closely with our PCAOB regulator has equipped Mary with unique experience and insights into the changing audit landscape due to our regulation as a profession both domestically and globally.
