In her current role, Krupa focuses her practice on data privacy, marketing, and information governance. As part of building and maintaining a global privacy compliance program, Krupa provides counsel on international, federal, and state privacy compliance and data security breach response. She supports the Adtalem marketing team by advising on data use and collection, promotions, and claims substantiation.

Prior to joining Adtalem, Krupa was Chief Privacy Officer at Heidrick & Struggles where she built a global GDPR-compliance program, managed Heidrick’s IP portfolio, reviewed search, consulting, IT and procurement contracts, and assisted with product development. Before focusing on privacy, Krupa was Senior Corporate Counsel at Groupon. There she advised the Groupon Goods business on all legal aspects of the retail business including negotiating merchandise contracts, online marketing, customer disclosure requirements, shipping and logistics, customer service, and product recalls. Krupa began her career as a law clerk for the Honorable A. Benjamin Goldgar of the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of Illinois, after which she worked as an associate at Quarles & Brady.

Krupa received a B.A. from Northwestern University in Economics and Religion and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. She serves on the board of the Jackson Chance Foundation.
