Ken Taylor is the founder, and former CEO and Chairman of Marksmen, where he oversaw the completion of 70,000+ IP investigations and more than 10,000 successful acquisitions of trademarks, domain names and patent rights. He has been involved in the Internet domain space for more than 20 years, including three tours on the INTA Internet Committee, two tours on the Cyberspace Team at Marques and has been a member of the Intellectual Property Constituency at ICANN since 2001.

Currently Ken is Director of Business Development at Com Laude & Valideus. Com Laude provides online brand protection and manages domain name portfolios for brand owners, and is trusted by business and legal professionals who value the strategic advice and focus on security and cost-effective solutions. Valideus helps brand owners, communities and businesses get the most out of the opportunities presented by dot brand, geographic and new generic Top Level Domains.

Ken is also the author of three books of poetry and the founder/publisher of selva oscura press, a 501(c)(3) non-profit publisher of experimental poetry and poetics.
