Hasan Shafiqullah is the Attorney-in-Charge of the Legal Aid Society’s Immigration Law Unit. Over the past twenty years, he has represented clients in a range of matters, including immigration, housing, family, consumer, name change, divorce and probate, and has given numerous trainings to clients and staff at nonprofit organizations and hospitals, on issues such as immigrant rights, housing rights, HIV confidentiality, attorney-client confidentiality and permanency planning. He is a graduate of the University of California Hastings School of Law and of the University of Arizona, and holds a certificate in French to English legal translation from New York University.
