Damian Williams is the Co-Chief of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Prior to assuming that position, Mr. Williams investigated and prosecuted a wide array of significant securities fraud and public corruption offenses. He has tried thirteen cases to verdict, including United States v. Sheldon Silver.
Mr. Williams holds degrees from Harvard University, Cambridge University, and Yale Law School. He served as a law clerk to Justice John Paul Stevens at the United States Supreme Court and Judge Merrick B. Garland at the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
