Bella Rivshin is a partner in Risk and Regulatory Affairs where she specializes in evaluating complex independence matters and advising on US and non-US ethics and independence rules and regulations.
Ms. Rivshin joined Deloitte in April 2013 and until August 2016 was a partner in Audit Regulatory and Professional Matters where she advised Deloitte leadership on audit regulatory matters.
From February 2011 to March 2013, Ms. Rivshin served as Special Advisor to Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s Board Member Lewis H. Ferguson. Prior to becoming a special advisor, Ms. Rivshin was an Associate Chief Auditor in the Office of the Chief Auditor at the PCAOB, which develops auditing and related professional practice standards applicable to audits of public companies in the US. Ms. Rivshin was also responsible for managing the PCAOB’s Standing Advisory Group.
Prior to joining the PCAOB in November 2003, Ms. Rivshin worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers where she specialized in auditing and consulting.
Ms. Rivshin holds a B.A. degree from Indiana University and a Masters of Accountancy from George Washington University. She is a certified public accountant in Washington, D.C. and California.
