Biography

Bedros is an audit senior manager in KPMG’s Audit Quality and Professional Practice Group.  In this role, Bedros provides technical support to engagement teams in addressing and resolving complex accounting, reporting, and SEC related issues. His focus areas include leases, consolidation, long-lived assets, debt and equity transactions, and SEC rules and regulations.  He has more than 14 years of experience providing audit services to real estate and leasing clients.

Previously, Bedros was based in KPMG’s San Francisco office serving as a member of the Bay Area’s real estate practice.  He has served clients in multiple industries, but his primary focus has been those in the real estate and leasing industries.  His clients included public and private real estate entities including those organized as REITs and limited partnerships, and public entities in the leasing industry. He has assisted clients in technical accounting areas including leases, revenue recognition, acquisitions, stock-based compensation, other matters both under US GAAP and IFRS.  Furthermore, his experience has included assisting clients with compliance and reporting matters, including SEC rules and regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley.  Bedros also previously served as the Audit Initiatives Lead Champion for the Bay Area Business Unit with a focus in data and analytics and the development of intelligent automation-based audit tools.
