Barry Taylor-Brill is Senior Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at Wells Fargo & Company where his legal team covers derivatives and foreign exchange products across asset classes, including fixed income, currency, credit, equity, municipal and commodity derivatives and physicals. He was Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Wachovia Corporation prior to its merger with Wells Fargo, and was derivatives counsel with First Chicago Corporation from 1983 until 1995. Mr. Taylor-Brill has been a member of the documentation committee of the International Swaps & Derivatives Association since its inception in 1984 and helped draft the ISDA Master Agreements (and related Credit Support Annexes).Mr. Taylor-Brill holds an A.B. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois and a J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. He was a faculty speaker for the Practising Law Institute’s swaps program from 1985-2000, and has authored several articles on derivatives.
