Adam Dembrow is an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the NYC Law Department’s Tax and Bankruptcy Litigation Division. He handles eminent domain proceedings, trials and appeals, litigates regulatory takings issues, and advises multiple City agencies on condemnation, land use and property acquisition matters.
Prior to entering City service, Mr. Dembrow spent three years at a non-profit organization which conducts civil rights litigation on behalf of foster children. Prior to that, he spent many years in private practice in the areas of bankruptcy-related litigation and financial restructuring transactions.
Mr. Dembrow is a graduate of Cornell Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.
