The Missouri Bar requires attorneys to complete 15 credits, including 2 credits of professionalism, ethics or malpractice prevention, by June 30 every year. All credits must be reported by July 31. Attorneys are limited to 6 credits of self-study per reporting period. Professionalism, ethics, and malpractice prevention credit may not be earned through self-study. A maximum of 15 credits, including 2 ethics credits, may be carried over to the next reporting period. "Self-study" credit may not be carried over.
