Newfoundland and Labrador

CPD Requirements: The Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador requires every practising member to participate in a minimum of 15 hours of eligible Continuing Legal Education (CLE) activities annually. See Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador's Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Requirements.

Completing Your CPD Requirements with PLI: The Law Society will not assess or accredit providers, content or subject matter in advance. It is each member's responsibility to ensure that a proposed CLE activity meets the content requirements set out by the Law Society and, therefore, qualifies as an eligible CLE activity. View PLI CPD activities that may be eligible for your CLE Annual Report.

Attendance Reporting: Members are required to complete and submit a document annually to the Law Society, referred to as a CLE Annual Report. The Annual CLE Report shall be submitted to the Law Society no later than the 31st of December each year.
