Zachary B. Kass is an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Tax and Bankruptcy Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department.  Mr. Kass graduated in 1978 from Fordham University Law School. After two years as a litigation associate at Butler, Fitzgerald & Potter, P.C., he joined Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom as an associate in its Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights department.  Mr. Kass joined Robinson Silverman Pearce Aronsohn & Berman as a partner in 1991, and became a partner in Bryan Cave LLC upon the firms' merger in July 2002. Mr. Kass has been involved in all aspects of bankruptcy court practice, corporate reorganizations, transaction planning and out of court workouts. Mr. Kass was the chairman of the Practicing Law Institute's 1997, 1994 and 1992 programs on Enforcing State and Federal Money Judgments and Commercial Claims. He was a co-author of Chapter 4, "Prepackaged Plans of Reorganization," in A Practical Guide to Out of Court Restructurings and Prepackaged Plans of Reorganization, Prentice Hall Law & Business (1991).
