Mr. Scally is a Director in PwC’s Forensics practice in Boston.   He has 12 years of management consulting experience advising clients on a broad range of business issues.  Mr. Scally has experience providing financial, economic and statistical services to companies with a focus on equity and debt valuation, business enterprise valuation, business model due diligence and contract compliance.

Mr. Scally has experience applying valuation principles while assisting companies to pursue strategic initiatives as well as in the context of analyzing economic damages pursuant to government and commercial litigation disputes.  These skills have been applied involving a variety of issues including the valuation of closely-held businesses, patent infringement, joint venture disputes, breach of contract, business and asset impairment analyses and purchase-price disputes.  Mr. Scally also assists clients with financial and tax reporting issues related to business combinations, with an emphasis on business enterprise valuation and intangible asset valuation.  Mr. Scally’s valuation experience includes engagements across a broad array of industries, including private equity and early-stage ventures, service, software, technology, manufacturing, financial services, life sciences and healthcare.  Mr. Scally has testified as an expert witness on multiple occasions.

Mr. Scally is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter-holder and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Masters in Business Administration from Boston College.
