Jiang Weibo is a partner at Haiwen & Partners. 

He advises on all types of mergers and acquisitions. He has represented both corporates and private equity funds on a broad range of public and private M&A transactions, often involving cross-border issues.

Mr. Jiang is recognized as a leading M&A and capital markets lawyer by Chambers and Partners, IFLR 1000, etc.

Mr. Jiang's recent experience has included representing Bain Capital, China Huaneng Group, China Mobile and TPG in relation to their investments in mainland China and/or overseas.

After starting his career at the firm as a partner in 1992, Mr. Jiang moved to New York working with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and was there from 1995 to 1996. From 2000 to 2001, he worked in the Hong Kong office of Cleary Gottlieb. Mr. Jiang rejoined the firm in 2001.

Mr. Jiang received an LL.M degree in 1997 and a J.D. degree in 1999, both from Duke University School of Law. In 1992 he also received an LL.M. degree from Beijing University and in 1987 he received an LL.B. degree from Northwest Institute of Political Science and Law.
