Wanda Tung is the General Counsel for Asia ex-Japan. She is also a member of the Asia Executive Management Committee as well as the Chairperson for the Firm’s Reputational Risk, Suitability and Conflicts Committee.

Wanda manages a team of 50 lawyers and legal professionals supporting the full spectrum of Nomura’s businesses across Asia ex-Japan. She serves as a key member of several of the firm’s transaction approval and risk oversight committees, and is the Co-Executive Sponsor for two of Nomura’s employee networks, Women In Nomura (WIN) Network and the LGBT Network.

Wanda joined Nomura from Lehman Brothers where she was a Managing Director and Head of Legal, Asia-Pacific (ex-Japan). Previously, she spent more than 10 years as the Assistant General Counsel at JP Morgan Chase Bank.  She started her legal career with Baker & McKenzie in the U.S. and Hong Kong.

Wanda holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
