Wallburga Kullmann

Walburga Kullmann is a capital markets lawyer with a focus on structured products, including certificates, structured bonds and notes, warrants, swaps, options, as well as other derivatives. She has been involved in the development of the structured products markets in Germany since 1990.

In addition, she advises clients on debt financing and hybrid transactions, admission to listings on the stock exchange, and issues related to the law on securities prospectuses. Ms. Kullmann has participated in expert hearings concerning the EU Prospectus Directive and its implementation into German law, and has provided substantial legal advice on this subject. Her practice includes representing national and international banks and other financial institutions, which act as issuers, underwriters, lead managers or arrangers of financial products or are a party to derivatives or loan transactions.

Ms. Kullmann studied law in Germany, England, France, and the United States. She received her doctorate degree from the University of Kiel in Germany and her LL.M from Indiana University.
