Viet  Dinh is Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center.  He is formerly Assistant Attorney General, Office of Legal Policy, for the U.S. Department of Justice, where he played a key role in developing the USA Patriot Act and revising the Attorney General's Guidelines, which govern federal law enforcement activities and national security investigations.
