Tony Fuller, who leads Baker Tilly's Government Contractor Advisory Services practice, has been with Baker Tilly since 2002. He has over 19 years experience providing a broad range of accounting, pricing, contract compliance and dispute/litigation related consulting services to government contractors and their legal counsel.

Specific experience

  • Assists contractors with complex projects involving a broad range of government contract pricing and regulatory compliance matters
  • Provides dispute/litigation services, including economic damage analysis, claims preparation, fraud investigations, expert testimony and other litigation support services for contractors and their legal counsel
  • Performs a variety of risk management, compliance and internal audit related services to assess the effectiveness of government contracting business processes and controls
  • Assesses contract compliance gaps and designs/implements corrective action plans using contract administration and compliance program best practices
  • Provides project based change management consulting services in connection with business process/control redesign efforts related to government contract accounting, administration and compliance improvement initiatives
  • Advises contractors regarding all aspects of Federal Supply Schedule contracting, including Trade Agreements Act, commercial pricing analysis, proposal preparation, contract option extensions, compliance reviews, Inspector General audits, and Department of Justice investigations
  • Sought after expert in the field of Federal Supply Schedule contracting and other commercial item type government contract vehicles - speaks frequently and authors many articles on government contract market trends and compliance issues in this field
  • Supervises a range of sponsored research grants/contracts compliance projects for many of our university clients, including fraud investigations, government audit support, and preparation of voluntary disclosures to sponsoring agencies
  • Represents his clients in meetings with government officials from the Office of Inspector General, Department of Justice and other federal agencies
  • Works with contractors in many industries, including defense/aerospace, professional services, healthcare/medical devise, retail/consumer goods, manufacturing/distribution, higher education/research institutions, and not-for profit entities - among others
