Mr. Schneider is the founding partner of Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky.  He founded the firm in 1993. He is a long-time civil rights advocate with an extensive background in employment, financial services and consumer rights litigation. With numerous court victories in cases involving consumer fraud, securities fraud, and race, gender, national origin and disability discrimination, he is a published author, lectures widely.  He has served as President of The San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and serves on its Board of Directors.  Mr. Schneider has served as member of the Board of Governors the Consumer Attorneys of California and as a Vice President for the organization.  Mr. Schneider is a member of The State Bar of California, America Association For Justice, The National Employment Lawyers' Association, Public Justice, The National Association of Consumer Advocates and The California Employment Lawyers' Association.  Mr. Schneider was appointed by the Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court to serve on the Advisory Committee on civil Jury Instructions and has served on that committee for over 10 years.
Mr. Schneider was named 2005 Trial Lawyer of the Year by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers' Association and has been honored as a Super Lawyer in the area of class actions and mass torts by San Francisco Magazine for each year that the list has been published.  In 2006 and in 2009  he was a finalist for the Consumer Attorneys of California's Consumer Attorney of the Year award.  He is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell and "superb" by www.avvo.com.
