Teena-Ann V. Sankoorikal is a partner in Cravath’s Litigation Department. She has a broad litigation practice, with experience in copyright, patent, trade secret, securities, Alien Tort Statute and antitrust law, as well as involvement in internal investigations and the representation of directors and company executives. Ms. Sankoorikal also has extensive experience in electronic discovery and the complexities associated with such productions.

In November 2008, Ms. Sankoorikal moderated two panels at the Practising Law Institute’s “Managing Complex Litigation” conference: Current Ethical Issues: Ethical Issues Arising in Settlements and Current Legal Issues Relating to Complex Litigation: The Battle for Class Certification. She also coauthored two articles for that conference: “Current Legal Issues Relating to the Inclusion of Foreign Plaintiffs in Securities Class Actions” and “Attorney-Client Privilege and Work-Product Doctrine: Potential Pitfalls of Disclosure to Public Relations Firms”.

In November 2009, Ms. Sankoorikal moderated a panel at the Practising Law Institute’s “‘Bet the Company’ Litigation: 2009” conference: Current Ethical Issues: Ethical Issues in Complex Litigation. She also co-authored two articles for that conference: “Upjohn Warnings: Ethical and Legal Issues Associated with Internal Investigations” and “The Ethics of Legal Process Outsourcing”.

In December 2008, Ms. Sankoorikal participated on a panel for the South Asian Bar Association of New York directed at associates and law students.

Ms. Sankoorikal was born in New Haven, Connecticut. She received a B.S. in Chemistry cum laude from Yale University in 1996 and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999, where she was the Research Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. She joined Cravath in 1999 and became a partner in 2007.
