Susan Hart-White is a Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Sanofi US Services Inc. in Bridgewater, New Jersey.  Since joining the pharmaceutical industry almost 20 years ago, Ms. Hart-White has advised on regulatory and compliance issues in the US and abroad, including issues arising under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, privacy laws (e.g. HIPAA/Privacy Rule and HITECH), the Anti-Kickback Statute, Customs laws, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA), the Animal Welfare Act, clinical trial disclosure, and state laws on licensing and prescribing.  She has also participated in internal and external policy development. 

More recently, Ms. Hart-White has spent considerable time on understanding and advising on the “Sunshine” provisions of the Affordable Care Act and the implementing regulations finalized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on February 8, 2013.

Before joining Sanofi US, Ms. Hart-White worked for Bayer Corporation, Diagnostics Division, and Schering-Plough Corporation.  Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, she was a litigator at the law firm of Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine in New York City.  Ms. Hart-White is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and various federal and appellate courts.
