Sue Haffield has been with PricewaterhouseCoopers since 2002 serving primarily as a partner in the State and Local Tax practice. She has over 20 years of tax experience in providing consulting services focusing on tax strategy and planning, tax function reviews, audit defense, refund analysis, and accounting for taxes. Sue is also actively involved with monitoring the Streamlined Sales Tax Project since its inception on March 2000 and assists clients in understanding the nuances of the Project's outcome.

Sue also has experience working in the Tax Department at Cargill, Incorporated as a manager of state and local taxes. While at Cargill, Sue managed several aspects of state and local taxes including transaction taxes and state income taxes. In this role, she worked with the Cargill businesses on acquisitions, location analysis for business development, audits, and compliance.

While working in the Minneapolis area, Sue has been involved with many business and taxpayer organizations such as the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Chamber of Commerce and the Iowa Taxpayer's Association. She is also a frequent speaker for organizations such as Council on Taxation, Institute for Professionals in Taxation, Tax Executive Institute, and New York University. Sue serves on the board of Lutheran Social Services and on the Finance Committee of the organization.

Sue received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Minnesota. She is also a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
