Steven Kronheim is Managing Director and Associate General Counsel of TIAA-CREF, where he heads the pension law group. Steve has 30 years of experience with pension, employee benefit and labor issues. He was previously Law Vice President at Alcatel-Lucent, and a partner in major New York City law firms. He graduated from Williams College and Columbia Law School and has a LL.M. (Taxation) from New York University Law School. He lectures frequently on benefit and fiduciary issues, is on the board of the ERISA Industry Committee and a former chair of its Retirement Security Committee, and is a member of the Advisory Board of Bloomberg BNA Pension & Benefits Publications.
