  • Steven is a partner in Ernst and Young’s Professional Practice Group in Washington, DC where he specializes in matters pertaining to SEC rules and regulations surrounding financial reporting.He is responsible for developing the firm’s publications and training materials on various SEC reporting topics as well as providing accounting and financial reporting advice to EY’s engagement teams and clients.Steven currently represents EY on the Center for Audit Quality’s SEC Regulations Committee and its International Practices Task Force.
  • Prior to joining EY, Steven served as an Associate Chief Accountant in the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance where he served as an advisor and consultant to the Division's Chief Accountant, Director, senior managers and Division and Commission staff with respect to accounting and financial reporting matters arising under the SEC rules and regulations. In addition, he provided guidance on matters dealing with novel accounting issues, financing, and business structures affiliated with registrants and their documents filed with the SEC.
  • Steven earned a Bachelors of Science in Management degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.He is a Certified Public Accountant in the District of Columbia and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
