Steve Goldstein is the President and General Manager of Turtle Rock Studios, Inc., an independent game developer that is currently working on a new AAA franchise to be published by 2K Games, a division of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.

Prior to joining Turtle Rock, Steve was Partner and Chair of the Interactive Entertainment and Video Games Group at Stubbs, Alderton & Markiles, LLP. Steve’s practice concentrated on advising clients within the video game industry on a variety of issues, including the negotiation of video game publishing agreements, merchandizing agreements and co-marketing agreements, alternative financing of game development, global corporate structuring, intellectual property protection and exploitation, Internet best practices, and legal issues related to the use and trade of virtual goods. Steve also served as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School where he taught a course on the law of Video Games and Virtual Worlds.

Steve has spoken at a variety of video game related conferences, including Game Developers Conference, Austin Game Developers Conference, Seattle Game Developers Conference, Consumer Electronics Show, ION Conference, Penny Arcade Expo Video Game Bar Association Conference and Law Seminars International’s Gamer Technology Law panel.
