Stephanie was appointed as Barclays Global Head of Litigation, Investigations & Enforcement and joined the Legal Executive Committee in May 2014. In this role Stephanie is accountable for leading Barclays global Litigation Investigations & Enforcement teams to deliver a fully functionalised service which promotes consistency, co-ordinated efficiencies and joined up reporting.

Prior to this role and since January 2011 Stephanie was Head of the Corporate & Investment Banking Litigation team in EMEA and the Coordinator for Corporate and Investment Banking Litigation and Investigation Services globally. Prior to this she was Head of Barclays Global Retail & Commercial Banking Litigation team where she provided litigation support to Barclays Retail businesses globally including Barclays' Cards business.

Stephanie joined Barclays in 2005 from Allen & Overy and has extensive experience of managing complex, cross border disputes and litigation, contentious regulatory & enforcement matters, internal investigations and providing generic contentious risk advisory services to Barclays. Prior to working for Allen & Overy she worked at Credit Suisse and Sumitomo Bank Capital Markets. Stephanie holds an LLB and a Master’s degree in International Business Law.

In addition to her work responsibilities, she supports various diversity initiatives through her membership of the WiN and is an active supporter of the BLD Legal Launchpad which works to provide access to the Legal profession primarily targeted at ethnic minority Law students and non-Law students at university in the UK.
