Stan Weber is a solo immigration law practitioner in New York where he concentrates on all aspects of removal proceedings and detention issues. 

Stan began his practice after a long career with the former U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement as Deputy Chief Counsel in New Orleans, Louisiana and as a Senior Attorney in New York. During his time as government counsel, Stan litigated thousands of cases involving a vast array of immigration issues, but concentrating on national security issues, criminal alien issues, organized crime issues and custody issues.   

Stan was an original faculty member of the ICE Trial Attorney Training Program and frequently lectured and trained ICE attorneys on bond and custody issues.  Stan also lectured local and federal law enforcement personnel on the immigration consequences for criminal behavior. Recently, at the AILA 2010 Annual Conference on Immigration Law, Stan was a panel member for the workshop "Don't Believe Everything You Read: Challenging the Notice to Appear."
