Shaham M. Siddiqui

Shahram Siddiqui joined LNR Property, LLC in January 2011 as a member of its Executive Committee and as its Corporate Counsel. In such role, Mr. Siddiqui is responsible for coordinating, in conjunction with the general counsels for each of LNR Property's operating divisions, the legal affairs of LNR Property, including corporate transactions, regulatory compliance and corporate litigation.

Prior to joining LNR Property, Mr. Siddqui was an Associate in the Real Estate Practice Group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York.  While at Skadden, Mr. Siddiqui represented a broad range of clients in real estate-related transactions, including:  capital markets and syndicated loan transactions; acquisitions and dispositions; joint ventures; fund formations; mortgage and mezzanine loan originations; foreclosure and enforcement actions; workouts and restructurings of secured loans and credit facilities for real estate single-asset and/or operating companies.  Of particular note was Mr. Siddiqui's representation of Empire State Development Corporation in the Atlantic Yards Land Use Improvement and Civic Project, a large mixed-use development that will include a sports arena, 16 residential and commercial buildings and civic facilities in the Atlantic Terminal section of Brooklyn, New York.

Prior to joining Skadden, Mr. Siddiqui was Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Tower Investments, Inc., a developer and redeveloper of brownfields located in the Mid-Atlantic. At Tower, Mr. Siddiqui oversaw $250M in construction and development activities. Prior to joining Tower, Mr. Siddiqui was a Member of the Business Law Group at Cozen O'Connor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Contact
