Sean is a member of the International Tax Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP. He is based in Washington, DC, where he advises clients on international tax policy and international tax planning.

Prior to rejoining EY, Sean was a Tax Advisor with the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Ways and Means. In that position, he helped formulate international tax policy, led hearings on international and energy tax reform, advised Congressional Working Groups and drafted tax reform proposals primarily focusing on moving the U.S. international tax system to a territorial tax system.

Prior to his seven years with the House Committee on Ways and Means, Sean spent four years with the International Tax group of Ernst & Young LLP in the Northeast region. In that role he focused on advising U.S. multinational clients on domestic and foreign taxation issues as well as strategic transactions, including acquisition structuring and financing structures.

Sean earned his Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Taxation from Fordham University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross. He is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of New York.
