SARAH M. KONSKY is a partner in the Employment & Labor group in the firm’s Chicago office. Ms. Konsky represents clients in a wide range of employment and labor cases, including employment discrimination, wage and hour, wrongful termination, restrictive covenant, trade secret, and breach of contract claims. Ms. Konsky has experience defending clients in class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act, state wage and hour laws, employment discrimination laws, and other statutes. She represents clients at the trial and appellate levels, as well as in arbitrations and administrative proceedings.

Ms. Konsky regularly counsels employers on a variety of employment matters, including employment policies and procedures, employment-related agreements, disciplinary matters, employment terminations, reductions in force, restrictive covenants, protection of confidential information, and compliance with employment laws. She also assists clients in drafting and updating employment policies and agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Konsky served as a law clerk for Chief Judge Mary M. Schroeder, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Konsky graduated with honors from The University of Chicago Law School, where she was an editor of The University of Chicago Law Review.


Ms. Konsky is a member of the Board of Directors of CARPLS, the Coordinated Advice and Referral Program for Legal Services.
