Sarah D. Himmelhoch is the Senior Litigation Counsel for E-Discovery for the Environment & Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. She has been with that division in the Department of Justice since 1992, serving as a trail attorney, senior counsel, special counsel, and now as the senior litigation counsel.  Her practice has focused on complex civil environmental enforcement claims against industries pursuant to statutes such as the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and the Superfund statute. Her current cases include substantial responsibility for production of documents and discovery in the multi-district litigation arising out of the Deepwater Horizon explosion and oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
