Sara Cable is an Assistant Attorney General with the Consumer Protection Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley's Office. She investigates and prosecutes violations of the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act and data privacy and data breach notification laws, with a focus on unlawful foreclosure and mortgage practices, and threats to the security of consumers' personal information.

Previously, Ms. Cable was a litigation associate at Bingham McCutchen LLP, where she litigated commercial disputes featuring unfair trade practice, antitrust, and intellectual property claims. She received a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Harvard University and a Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
