Dr. Woodley has more than 15 years of IP and legal experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry, both in-house and in major U.S. law firms. His practice has focused on providing patent counsel and legal advice for clients that included innovative biotechnology start-ups and research institutions, as well as large biopharmaceutical companies. He has extensive experience in biotech and biopharma patent preparation and prosecution, as well as patent litigation, licensing and counseling. A native of North Carolina, Sam holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Biophysics from the University of Rochester, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Fordham University School of Law.
