Rudy Guyon advises global information technology businesses on commercial contracts and complex licensing transactions; international privacy and regulatory compliance; and technology products development and marketing. Previously Rudy has practiced as in-house counsel for Fujitsu America and its affiliates, at the Silicon Valley Law Group, and at Matsubara Muraki International Patent Law Office.  Rudy has lived and worked abroad in Japan and Europe, and speaks pretty good Japanese. Rudy graduated from the UCLA School of Law and U.C. Berkeley, is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), and currently co-chairs the Privacy, E-Commerce and Social Media Committee of the Bay Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. He has taught law at universities in Tokyo, Japan and Bucharest, Romania.  Rudy has broad experience with developing and marketing software, hardware and Internet products. He is interested in the outdoors, international business, and leading edge technology developments, such as the growth of the Cloud and smart grids.
