Ross D. Taylor concentrates his practice in corporate finance transactions, focusing on lease financing and other structured transactions. This includes single-investor, leveraged, and synthetic leases, both domestic and cross-border, project-finance, asset securitizations, and contract monetizations. These financings have involved representation of a wide range of lenders and lessees, including insurance companies, banks, leasing companies, and municipal entities. Transactions have involved aircraft, railroad rolling stock, vessels, real estate, cogeneration facilities, and a variety of other types of assets. Mr. Taylor also represents institutional investors in secured and unsecured privately placed debt financings, and he likewise advises clients in restructuring, workout, and bankruptcy matters. He received his law degree (J.D., 1988) from the University of Virginia Law School, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Virginia Tax Review. Mr. Taylor is a member of the American College of Investment Counsel.
