Ronnie is a Partner in Mason Hayes & Curran’s Employment Law and Benefits team, advising in both contentious and non-contentious employment law related matters. Ronnie has a wealth of experience helping domestic and international public and private companies manage their workforces, advising on the full range of cross-border labour and employment issues that arise.

Ronnie has significant experience in employment related civil actions and employer liability claims. He regularly appears before the Circuit and High Courts, the Employment Appeals Tribunal, the Labour Court and the Equality Tribunal, representing employers.

Ronnie also provides non-contentious advice to clients in drafting employment contracts, agreements and workplace policies and procedures. He provides legal support to HR managers in relation to restructuring, reorganisation and terminations. He also regularly advises on outsourcing and TUPE (Acquired Rights Directive) related issues.

Ronnie lectures on employment law issues regularly and on an annual basis lectures on equality law issues at University College Dublin and on redundancy law issues at the Law Society of Ireland. Ronnie is also heavily involved in the International Bar Association and is a regular speaker at IBA conferences. He is an Officer of the Discrimination Law Committee and Vice Chair of the Disability Working Group.
