Primary Areas of Practice:  As a first chair trial lawyer, I strive to help clients resolve patent, trade secret and technology driven disputes, whether by counseling, negotiating a settlement or preparing for and going to trial.  My teams work in different technologies that allows for fresh perspectives, new ideas and creative solutions to make complex technologies and legal arguments simple and understandable to a judge or jury.  Representative technologies include: electronics (computer hardware and software, networks, circuits, consumer products), life sciences (biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and invasive, non-invasive, therapeutic and diagnostic medical devices), semiconductors, cleantech and renewables, financial services and business methods, and designs.  Pro bono engagements include Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Volunteer Lawyer for the Arts, and the SET Foundation.
