Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP

Chicago, IL, USA

Robert Gordon, a partner at Mayer Brown, is a transactional attorney and corporate counsel whose practice is focused on four principal areas. His securitization transactions experience includes structuring securitizations of intellectual property (IP) assets, REMICs and pass-through certificates; securitization programs; and securitizations of debt issued in lease financing transactions, of commercial and multifamily mortgage loans, and of mortgage loans using commercial paper (CP) conduits. His second focus, lease financing, involves real estate, facilities and equipment sale-leaseback transactions, including transactions with public pass-through or REMIC debt or commercial paper conduits; real estate and facilities; synthetic leasing; multi-property, multi-state transactions; and early buy outs of existing sale-leasebacks. His practice is also concentrated on lending transactions, such as first, second, and wrap loans, mortgage warehousing facilities, and leasehold and participating mortgage loans; real estate loan workouts; and real estate collateral for non-real estate loans. He also focuses on real estate transactions in which he counsels and represents construction, interim, and permanent lenders; commercial and investment banks; loan originators and sellers; partnerships and institutional investors; lessees; and various corporate, banking and private parties.
