Richard M. Newman is a Counsel in Mayer Brown’s Banking and Finance Practice. Richard’s practice has concentrated on representing borrowers and lenders in a wide variety of secured financing transactions, including classic asset-based loans, leveraged acquisitions, working capital credit facilities and restructurings of troubled loans. He is a co-author of the chapter titled “Uniform Commercial Code” included in Securitization of Financial Assets (Aspen Law & Publishing, 2nd Edition, 2008) edited by Jason H.P. Kravitt.
