Rich Clifford is the past chair of the firm’s Government Contracts Practice Group. He has over 20 years of experience  representing government contractors, ranging from small businesses to the nation's largest defense contractors, in all aspects of litigation and counseling, including contract performance disputes, bid protests, terminations, CAS and incurred cost disallowances, TINA defective pricing, False Claims Act litigation, technical data and computer software rights, subcontractor arbitration and litigation, and suspension and debarment proceedings.

Rich is rated as one of the Nation's “Leading Lawyers” in the field of Government Contracts by Chambers USA.  According to Chambers: "Clients say: 'He is both detail-oriented and able to see the bigger picture, which gives him a unique combination of talent with which to approach problems.'"
